Hi, I’m Paras Karmacharya 

I am an NIH-funded physician-scientist and assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Vanderbilt University. I’ve spent over a decade in clinical research, authoring 90+ PubMed-indexed manuscripts (~2000 citations, H-index 25).

My journey began as an international medical graduate with no research background and “zero” publications. Most learning was hands on and my research process was haphazard and tedious. And it took me years to learn the basics of clinical research. I did not learn the nuances of clinical research until years later during my Master’s in Clinical and Translational Research (Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN).

But, as I was learning more, I had a hypothesis. If I could drill down everything I learned into simple systems and frameworks, clinical research and academic writing would not have to be so difficult.

With a mission to “Democratize Research” and lower the barriers to doing clinical research, I have built proven systems incorporating the best time-tested research frameworks and leveraging open-access tools and AI (available to all).
