However, it’s crucial to focus your efforts on the right type of research. Hard work is essential, but strategic hard work is what propels you forward. That’s why this program zeroes in on original research studies—because they offer the most significant impact on your academic resume.

When I was interviewing for my rheumatology fellowship, my extensive work on systematic reviews didn’t hold nearly as much weight as my original research. The same was true during my academic job search after my post-doc training. Original research is what academic institutions value most.

You don’t need prior research experience or access to expensive resources to succeed in this program.

This program is designed to teach you how to conduct original research using existing databases like NHANES, which are completely FREE. By leveraging these databases, you can bypass the most time-consuming aspects of research, such as data collection and patient recruitment, allowing you to focus on the analysis and publication process.

What many people overlook is that research using existing databases is still original research. When done correctly, it can transform your research resume into something truly enviable.

And if you have access to other paid databases or your own data, this program is fully equipped to help you maximize those resources as well.

The Clinical Research and Manuscript Writing OS is specifically designed for researchers in the fields of clinical and translational research. The principles and strategies we teach are highly relevant to these areas, making this course ideal for those focused on observational and quantitative research within the clinical realm.

While the core concepts of clinical research and academic writing can be broadly applied, this course may not provide the specific guidance you need if your work falls outside of clinical or translational research.

Additionally, this course is tailored for researchers conducting observational and quantitative studies. If your focus is on controlled trials, qualitative research, or fields like the humanities or computer science, this course may not be the best fit for your needs.

We recommend that you set aside at least 8 hours a week for this program. Since this is a live online program, we highly recommend that you attend the weekly mentoring sessions in person.

However, the lessons and mentoring sessions will be recorded and we will answer your questions during the mentoring session even if you do not attend these live.

That being said if this is a very busy time for you, we recommend that you wait to enroll until next year’s cohort. This is a very hands-on program and it will be hard for us to help you if you do not have the time to work on the things we discuss.

Our program specifically focuses on guiding you through the process of writing original research papers. We dive deep into every step involved in crafting a high-impact research article.

However, the core principles you’ll learn—such as the Endless Inspiration Hub Method and the Reverse Engineering to Storytelling Brilliance Framework—are versatile and can be applied to writing research proposals, review papers, and theses.

That said, please note that within the Rising Researcher Academy, our feedback and support are exclusively dedicated to original research articles.

You have lifetime access to the courses. They are yours to keep. That includes future updates and additions, and we plan to update the program regularly based on student requests & advancements in the research field.

You will have access to the mentoring sessions, custom AI tools, and the community platform for 3 months from the day you enroll. If you feel like you want the course or our supportive community around for longer, you will be able to extend your access on a month-by-month basis after the 3 months in the future. Currently, we are not offering this for the founder cohort. But we will be the first to let you know when we provide this option.

This is a live virtual program. Both the course lessons and the mentoring sessions will be live on zoom.

The course lessons and mentoring sessions will also be recorded for you to watch on your own schedule or as often as you like. However, we highly recommend attending at least the mentoring sessions, which are going to be very hands-on. 

The curriculum lessons will be held on Mondays at 4 pm CST and the mentoring sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 1 PM CST.

You’ll have access to these calls for 3 months starting on your enrollment date. We plan to add an option to pay to extend your access on a monthly basis in the future.
